ACT Campus Life

Connect. Discover. Contribute.
It's not just a campus, it's a community.

ACT offers students with varied interests, backgrounds, cultures and lifestyles a supportive, safe, welcoming environment, where they can express themselves through their art.

This concept is reflected in the ACT philosophy: Respect Yourself, Respect the Work and Respect the Community. Our small, tightly knit community provides students with a place to flourish and reach their true potential.

Students at ACT are able to experience what it’s like to be a part of professional-quality productions several times per year. The entire student body rallies around our performances by helping backstage, ushering and even participating as audience members when they are not directly involved in the productions.

In addition to performances, students can participate in school clubs, volunteer in the local community, and take part in advisory and enrichment groups, allowing them to interact with their peers in meaningful ways. Several school-wide student events take place throughout the year, including field trips, semi-formal dances, a prom and more.

Clubs meet after school and are open to any ACT student. Past clubs include: Acapella, Prom Committee, Sexuality Gender Alliance, SLAM Poetry, Student Council, Visual Arts and Yearbook.

At ACT, respect for the community goes beyond the walls of our school building. We encourage our students to stay informed, get involved through volunteering, and become contributing members of the communities in which they live. As such, ACT students are required to complete 50 hours of community service before graduation.
