New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) Accreditation
Improving Education Through Integrity, Reflection, and Transformation
The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) has awarded QMC with accreditation, which attests to the school's integrity and ability to provide students with a high-quality education.
What is NEASC?
NEASC is the oldest educational accreditation agency in the United States. An independent, voluntary, non-profit organization, NEASC works to establish and maintain high standards for all levels of education from Pre-K to the doctoral level. The accreditation process is peer-reviewed and determined by research-driven standards. NEASC’s Commission on Public Schools (CPS) accredits public K-12 schools and uses seven Standards for Accreditation to review the school’s application for accreditation. The accreditation is comprised of a 10-year cycle of self-study, peer review and follow-up. For more information on NEASC and the accreditation process, please visit NEASC.
What does NEASC accreditation mean?
NEASC accreditation indicates that QMC has conducted a self-study of all of its programs and has hosted a visiting committee that deemed successful QMC’s ability to implement its own educational goals and CPS's seven Standards for Accreditation. Going forward, QMC will work to maintain the NEASC Standards and improve its programs by implementing the recommendations of the visiting committee and the Commission.
